Not sure why mainstream feels the need to make 4-5+ minute tracks for an entire album
I’m not saying I like every album I’ve heard. If an album isn’t consistent enough for me to go back and let it run I’m done with it
How do you know an episode is bad?
yeah my original question was referring to all albums, not just ones you like but that answer makes sense
and usually i watched it to know its bad. i give it its proper run, evaluate and then either proceed to rewatch it or skip it later on if i revisit the season

because this is how it always was lol
need someone to ask Cole when The Let Out was made because it really does sound like it was inspired by Sinners lol
Wouldn't mind if Cole dropped an album like Circles
It's a Boy being a singing album was a theory I had lol

Ehh, I just think you're so used to rap songs nowadays being no longer than 3 minutes long lol. Rap albums in the 90's and 2000's always had long song lengths.
I absolutely love that Cole made a lot of these tracks 4-5+ minutes long.
Well yeah he is a better lyricist than all big 3 but big 3 better at making music
Yeah I mean he cant even attempt a Two Six

Exactly why I’m not replaying rap albums from 90’s and 2000’s
For selfish reasons I think I could help them reignite the flame and fall in love with this again
If they could trust in young Jermaine, we'd do our drills, we'd shake the rust
We'd blow the dust off of the pain and go shake up the game
And maybe then I'd have someone I want to be again
But even as I write that thought, I don't believe it, dang
'Cause maybe it wasn't even them, it's really me that changed
Saved this album for a long drive I'm on rn. Finished disc 1 and it's crazy how the latter half has some of the best songs he ever made. Shame the streams fell off after track 7.

Two Six is regional. Boldy goes similarly crazy on Detroit beats

Never admit this out loud people will think you’re an idiot

Hip-Hop has been dropping 20-30 great projects every single year since 2014. So unless one of my favorites are dropping, Nas, Common, Thought, Clipse as of recently, I’m not going back in time 95% of the time
