Cole the more likable mulatto man lets keep it a buck.

Same as Gambino . Cole not subbing or bothering no one . He was always dragged into a beef that didn’t involve him

Drake and Cole are definitely 2 peas in a pod and earlier in the career a lot of critiques (e.g. big ghost) were very vocal bout his “still struggling even after i signed to the roc and got all this praise” type of raps

    Big Ghost was f***ing hilarious

I think I was expecting an album of cole falling back in love with hiphop, and instead got a record where he clearly sounds out of love with it

wish nothing but the best for him

    Good, f*** Hip-Hop

Love the album more with each listen.. but I can’t argue against people saying it’s lacking substance.

Especially Cole as a 39 year old. So much bullshit happening in the world right now, and all these rappers are scared to talk about it

When rappers have talked politics they’ve gotten hate and low sales

I feel you but I don’t even think it’s necessarily even that serious it’s as simple as following through with the album concept you advertised and actually being innovative creative and exciting instead of doing the same exact sound and topics you’ve been doing 15 plus years and then have the nerve to not have other rappers feature like it’s some kind of flex, features would’ve brought much needed life to this project

Plastic beach last one I loved but I’m going on side of delusion

One of the best rap songs I heard this decade no bullshit

Set expectations astronomically high for the album

  • My darkest truths be hard to say to friends
F*** it, pass the bottle, we're swallowing hopes that can wash away the sins
Grew up amongst the lost and wasn't taught a way to win
On days, I think of James, my hardened heart breaks again

    That 4YEO callback

  • Why is Legacy called Legacy
