when did it come out that fake insider was the guy cole was talking about
i missed that
That opening day stream is pretty low, kinda surprised
I’m also sure a portion of his fans bought it. And are spinning it on their own devices without streaming needed.
Been out 1 day and convo in here already about streaming numbers

Streaming has ruined so much

It's either between him or this guy. TruDat, Tyree D***erson.. can't be a coincidence
@Jamesgreens confirm plz
idk if it was some kind of fan fiction, but I read on here j Cole requested a Red Hot Chili Peppers song at some event. it switched up the mood wherever he was at.
(I’m a RHCP fan, but as a nigga there’s a time and place for that) the first verse of the let out sound like he was studying Anthony’s flow lol
will we survive the let out?

lmaoooo i hear it now that you mention it
"Bombs in the Ville/Hit the Gas" grew on me big time.
I wasn't a big fan of it the first time I heard it, now it's becoming one of my favorite tracks on the album.
Yeah this shoulda been 1 disc. The age 29/39 thing adds nothing. Trim a ton of fat and re-sequence and this coulda been like an 8/10

bro hitting them “snow (hey oh)” melodies on that hoe lmao
Numbers definitely down but track length matters more than track counts.. a 3 minute song average gets you 20 streams in an hour vs 15 for a 4 minute average. A lot of slowburner type songs too so I could see it not resonating with casual listeners as much
Meh.
This was highly anticipated and the roll-out has been long.
But lets see how it does post release.
A good/great album should pick-up and have some staying power.
Especially for someone like Cole, who is one of the most known current and relevant rappers. Not "resonating" with "casuals" would be a big problem for an artist at his level. He is not an underground artist.
If not, the album title is very fitting and very ironic.

Yeah the age concept is barely noticeable.
Play a song from either disc and you have no idea what disc its supposed to be unless you know
