Part of the issue with modern day rap is it’s only as good as viral as it can be . If it can’t be dumbed down to memes and jokes it is only going to be spread so far .it will never get a music video . Being that accessible often dumbs down the material and listeners long term .so when they hear something that needs time to digest theyve already given up
