Cole really improved his vocal delivery on the songs hes singing on

  • KayTray

Yall don’t remember what it was like discovering blog era rappers like Cole, Kendrick, Drake, Rocky, Big KRIT, and Future for the first time man. Hip Hop is an old mans game now. These new kids don’t want to be great.

I will say though some of this perception just has to do with getting older

That was a special era for sure.... At least like a silver age but its faded out now.

  • Album is great

But i think the younger generations will go back and listen to these artists from that gen and be amazed as well. Same as we were.

And maybe some more exciting stuff gets made we don't know

The Let Out my favorite track

If u don’t get that track thats ok, you don’t spin albums for more than 1 week anyway before moving on and complaining about the next album you won’t actually listen to

No incentive to invest in young talent when most young people are seeing music background content

I kinda didn't enjoy it as much on second listen but could just be not in the mood for it

I ain’t even trying to sound like a d***rider but he levels ahead in terms of artistry

Mannn GNX is an embarrassment of riches compared to this and I ain’t even a GNX nigga like that I like Morale better

Like I don’t even like Squabble Up like that but it’s like orders of magnitude more entertaining than 90% of this album

I mean yes there is so much content in all mediums . Smart phones were just coming up . Were slow . Many people had cd player , iPod , iPod touch . Now people can take in so much content . Meaningful rap exist always though . If they let the same artist win the awards , best record sales , played in club for nostalgia and radio spins then you box the new generation out .

So much content is bad. Unlimited access is bad.
