Jonboii dunno, this album sort of reminded me of Logic a bit. I'm not entirely convinced the gap between Logic and Cole is that much larger than the gap between Cole and Kendrick.
What separates Kendrick from Cole and even Drake is that Kendrick doesn't sound like he puts on a Hip Hop costume when he raps, Kendrick sounds like he lives it and Cole and Drake sound like they studied it even though they're all students but I think Kendrick just spent more time working on his craft than anyone else because the way Cole is rapping right now Kendrick was rapping very early on his career
Like imagine if Kendrick today rapped like this on every song
