GKMC was a lot of people’s first exposure to hip hop

I never wanna have a serious discussion with those people

    This is Cole’s Mr morale

    Like clockwork

  • Hopefully this sounds better after a few listens, but it got kind of boring to me. Obviously a good piece of art, but it’s probably not gonna have much replay value for the average listener. Lack of any hits outside of maybe that one song with future.

    I’m a bit underwhelmed

I think disc 1 is mostly solid, The Let Out is one of the worst songs he’s ever done tho imo

I’m actually kinda disappointed with disc 2. I think my expectation was something more fiery since he said it was inspired from the beef. I just can’t get behind a lot of the writing on it and there’s so many classic hip hop samples it’s kinda giving Logic vibes

Overall I just need to sit with it longer. I’m sure some stuff will grow on me but honestly I expected it to hit immediately like The Off Season did

i think this will make the offseason much more appreciated

def a grower of an album imo. im gonna try to listen to both disc separately and see if it hits differently
