why do I remember bugatti in my head being autotuned asf
Ace hood fault
That gaza strip bar gotta be top 10 worst lines ever
Love when political cole shows up now its only to use it as a punchline or a simile like we dont even have an I Get Up type of verse man lmaoooooo
Cole needs a deluxe to save the album
maybe Disc34 could help
This the part where like especially if we want that demographic to unpack where that s*** comes from and actually vocally admit the way of thinking was flawed
It’s gonna come with some baggage.
i just think people should really hear what he’s saying instead of looking for a reactionary “he said something to offend me” comment

gaza and ice lines in back to back projects used basically as comedic punchlines
he's a moron
what line are you referring to? cause its clear he’s talking from someone else’s perspective who had this type of outlook
there was no my bad line after
it's wack to even come down on people coming from those circumstances having these kinds of outlooks initially, especially when in that verse/instance the person is gaining the understanding that it was wrong to look at the other person that way. I rather applaud the growth in perspective.
I'm sorry dog but niggas used to be much more homophobic due to a lack of perspective and being ignorant back in the day, man. There's nothing wrong with Cole displaying an ignorant but authentic perspective from back then in this verse.
nah there's a number of highlights on this album I like more than gnx
wait why is gnx the hill niggas wanna die on, there's better Kendrick joints

I mean andre is lgbtq and I get it. I wasnt really here for em’s apology on yellow brick road either for that racist tape but if the people are expressing genuine remorse then I can’t hold that over somebody head
yeah but how do you think quik stop, a song where he is quite literally yelling by the time the verse ends, is a snooze lol
The end was better for sure but getting there was a slog
nah there's a number of highlights on this album I like more than gnx
wait why is gnx the hill niggas wanna die on, there's better Kendrick joints
People are lame. Talk about the album on its own merit keep the X > Y talk to bullshit threads

100%
I'm not even talking just romantic Love.
Disc 2 is full of Love for Hiphop, God, himself and of course also his wife.
It feels to me like disc 2 has a certain care to it. Even all the hiphop references and flips just felt really well done and not corny tbh.
Obviously stuff like tributes to hiphop have been done more often, but I still felt his version(s) was his, authentic, good. But, just my 2 cents tho
aye man, I liked the entire album
and listening back to Disc 2, it’s exactly why I liked it last night. He’s exploring different areas of love, passion, faith, regrets, respects to himself, wife, hiphop, and it’s all in these wild pockets. Like you said, niggas get tired of love lmao

Most recent Kendrick album vs most recent j Cole album
@Fam Like i aint gon tell an affected demographic how to feel about verses mentioning said demographic i mean it’s art
But songs like auntie diaries and safety are definitely signs of really huge shifts in hip hop’s progressive politics just off the fact you got 2 of the biggest rappers saying it

Cause j Cole did a George Lopez anthem too like Kendrick 😭😭

On its own merit
Disc 2 is an abomination to hip hop and I hope biggie and Tupac come back from the dead and slap Cole’s ass for this abomination
I mean andre is lgbtq and I get it. I wasnt really here for em’s apology on yellow brick road either for that racist tape but if the people are expressing genuine remorse then I can’t hold that over somebody head
yellow brick road was one of my favorite songs on that album as kid ironically
i didnt know s*** though lol
On its own merit
Disc 2 is an abomination to hip hop and I hope biggie and Tupac come back from the dead and slap Cole’s ass for this abomination
why you still here man, the act is stale
REMOVE BOMBS/HIT THE GAS AND USE THIS AS DISC 1 ENDING
USE LONELY AT THE TOP AS DISC 2 ENDING
SOMEONE TELL IB TO HIT ME UP ITS ONLY BEEN A COUPLE HOURS WE CAN EDIT THE ALBUM IN 2026
@Valentine @Beach_kneega @BuryYaTaco @Oblivion99 @NoFace
Kinda disappointed there wasnt anything Daoud or Monte production on here
