Cole has so many great rap traits, but he's needs a proper executive producer to be like yea that ain't it man. Ib and T-Minus werent up for this
The production definitely ain’t the problem
He has Eminem disease where it’s some of the most technically impressive rapping and I hit the
is it even that technically impressive? maybe on The Off Season but not really on here
24 tracks ? Yeah I'm not listening all that.
What are the top 5 tracks ?
Just listen up to The Let Out
No reason for this to be 2 discs, the explanation doesn’t convey when you listen to it

One again proves that taste is the most important quality an artist can have

Eh, he can really bar out and hit a nice flow but Off Season easily better
Finished Disc 1. Is this the newer album or the older one?
Either way I enjoyed it on first listen a lot. One track I would truly get ride off is Bombs in the Ville. The Let Out was the most interesting track on the disc. But I enjoyed the tracks with his vintage sound the most like SAFETY. The Tems feature was a pleasant surprise

He needed a producer to bring the best out of him, like with TI and DJ Toomp

Both are new. Disc 29 from the perspecive of 29 year old Cole
hit the gas was great, but no way i’m saving the track to sit through that first half every time

Wasn’t one he made after the beef and the other disc was the one he been making for years?

He needed to link with Hit Boy tbh

Drake got 40 and Kendrick got Sounwave. Cole just did it all solo and suffered because of it
I thought the concept would be:
Disc 1: Songs from the perspective of 29yo Cole about him really making it, Reflecting and becoming comfortable
Disc 2: Songs from the perspective of 39yo Cole about being under pressure from the beef and having to step up and prove to everyone and himself he still got it. Maybe even making references to things on disc 1 that he views different now
Instead we got:
Disc 1: A bunch of random incoherent stories and some bragging
Disc 2: I love my wife
