Also him rapping like he was possessed by a paranormal goat on them clue freestyles actually doesn’t do this album any favors

Nothing here reaches anywhere near that level lyrically which is a shame

There are moments here or there but the EP was a lot more coherent as a project

And they still never experienced an average Nas song, tf are we talking about lol Nas is the king of interpersonal hip hop. He raps on s*** you would only ever understand if you come from a certain place.

Also Nas has some trash ass albums. He’s still the Goat though.

ok but why would you say you dont know why people would listen to nas if they dont come from that environment unless im misunderstanding you

Cole probably prides himself on being able to do it all himself, bg vocals, hooks, humming, making beats

But bruh someone needs to tell him variety is the spice of life ffs

  • Alexandrian

ok but why would you say you dont know why people would listen to nas if they dont come from that environment unless im misunderstanding you

No they are saying they can’t listen to J Cole because of his subject matter. So it made me think they couldn’t listen too much rappers then if that’s the problem. I used Nas as an example. He may be a little more versatile with the scenarios but they still rapping about very similar core s*** lol
