Jcole will get into acting now and will fade into irrelevancy until he does an irl vz in 20 years
Disc 2 is really good you niggas are again
F***ing stupid
It is, but not mind blowing
39 intro first half was jarring as hell, I had to check and see if I accidentally hit a different playlist
Idk why he put this knockoff long ass Oasis song in here
Intro would've been much better if it was just the 2nd song
First listen initial reaction:
I can tell off rip a lot of blood, sweat, tears, time, and effort was put into this album. It doesn’t sound like it was quickly thrown together at all.
There are some genuinely great songwriting moments on here. Some of the production choices surprised me coming from Cole, but some of the production did feel a little cheap as well.
But my biggest question is just why this was touted as his ten-years-in-the-making retirement album? Excluding some songs on Disc 39, most of the subject matter here is very similar to things Cole has been talking about his entire career. I didn’t really hear a drastic change in perspective like I was expecting to based on how he talked about the album
Felt like the album got overcooked after 2024
I can’t do this tired “I Used to Love Her” inspired theme after 20 songs.
It’s too much.

Both sides have good songs but that isn't the issue
we've all done this
Done it sober? Hell no lol
Atleast when u all get the vinyl you dont have to switch out the disc
Both discs are actually split across TWO vinyls lmao

he just needs to go the 3 stacks route and do features. albums are not for him
I thought the retirement s*** was just a marketing thing but man after disc 2 bro might actually be done
Im on my hater s*** cuz WHO TF IZ U is fire but its ass when compared to the OG in Drop a gem on 'em lol.
