I know thats what Cole says but his debut album IS cohesive.
Its literally a follow up to the mixtapes, thematically and production wise.
Even the singles were strong. What mainstream rapper pushes a song like Lost One, except for one thats focused on songwriting and spreading a message.

I could understand Cole feeling like he missed the mark with Born Sinner
But he quickly course corrected with FNL and even the Truly Yours trilogy was brilliant (which he made DURING the BS era)
