Free YoungBoyI’m not talking about underground rap. I’m talking mainstream hip hop. Pac alone has 3 better album. TM101 is way better than FHD yet you never see it in these type of pitchfork/rollinstone lists.
If you wanna make a mainstream npc list then put it top 100 but come on we all really know it’s not in that class

That’s respectable man and you know that won’t directed to you just more of a general statement. I think for me a personal classic and a classic in the sense of the general hip hop landscape can be different. I fully agree my criteria for a classic differs from the latter

Not all classics are on the same level of classic status.
#1 on the list is #1 for a reason, and #100 is nowhere near it, but both are still classics

Some of cole's best work is on that tape.
