Something to be said about all the aforementioned “big bad bullies” of hip hop (e.g. hov, drake, and j “hater” cole) creating a coalition of Rodney King-isms (“can we all just get along?”) to one of the oldest traditions of hip hop all because when the bully got they s*** smacked they ducked to a corner.

I feel you man. You know Drake is my absolute GOAT but he stepped in the ring to run the fade and lost. That s*** is hip hop through and through and I agree with you completely on that. The optics on suing regardless of his reasoning is absolutely crazy looking for someone who I feel is 100% rooted in hip hop going back to his origins it’s just not a good look. Where I deviate is things objectively are different now and there is a lot of the social media aspect that I heavily dislike because it’s gone beyond just fans of hip hop or within that community. I don’t like that part of it and I suspect that’s part of what Hov and Cole are getting at as well. It is what it is though no putting the jack back in the box so I guess people need to be aware of the landscape they’re in now and that goes beyond music really anything where you’re in the limelight
