I think itās an eye-roll coming from Cole specifically because we all saw what happened, niggas donāt wanna hear about his pen game they wanted to see him do it against the best
Fair. Ngl, all I'm seeing since the beef is coulda woulda shoulda cope from the defenders. If he hadn't engaged at all, it would be a different story.
This bar sucks for obvious reasons but another reason is I rarely see that nigga wear jewelry
Hey lazy dumbass bro what's up. The line was "At one time, my neck and wrist was havin' so much ice". Do your own research or you're gonna lose brain definition
There are some HORRENDOUS bars on here tho but I still love you Cole
This the key diff between cole and kendrick
When kendrick turns it on, thereās no s*** bars. Cole regularly will throw a horrid bar in there

He prolly one of those āwear 1k t shirtsā type of flauntera

Iāve been listening to Cole since the warm up before the warm up, he was never an icy nigga, the most heās done is when he popped out looking like French Montanaās twin

But he still didnāt have crazy amount of ice, just seemed like a filler bar to mention ICE
Couldāve went crazier
Chance the Rapper had a much better ice bar

Fellas aint never been in desperate need of commas like a run on sentence and we can tell
Iām lead to believe might delete later was when drake was in the studio with him (e.g. fever one of the worst songs of the decade) and this mixtape was where it was nobody but Ib and JID and dem.

It was like three niggas in that same fit

May be wrong but I feel like that was the same year ace hoods Rollie fell apart on the red carpet, lot of fashion fails in that era
Does anyone else know what this dude be talking about. He's gotta be on akademiks payroll or something
rapping about how good you are at rapping is pretty much foundational crodie
Maybe for the rap fan who is still a teenager. When you're well into your 20s and 30s, hearing a rapper rap just for the hell of it isn't nearly as impressive. That's the very thing that nuked Eminem's career momentum. He stopped making records that were purposeful and leaned all the way into just rapping for rapping sake and was surprised/upset that rap fans who were now adults weren't easily impressed by him rapping fast or rapping about absolute rubbish as a 40+ to 50+ year-old. That's where Cole seems to be headed.
These songs would impress the hell out of a rap fan who was like 12-17. That's not my age range. For most of my life, I've heard rappers of every caliber rap their asses off.
I can tell that Cole is technically proficient and sound with his rapping but it needs to say more than just saying a whole bunch of s*** that I can't even remember or hold on to after a couple listens.
Like, what are the lines from those 4 songs that stay with you after listening to them?
After what Cole spit what are the odds we get a Dot feature on TFO?
0%, although I would be here for it.

How's the em route where Cole is heading ?
I feel like you guys are just ignoring the context of this drop.
He just dropped a song thats actually gonna be on the album and he doesnt do the rapping for the sake of it. He's clearly saving the content for the album.
These are just loosies that arent even on streaming.
