honestly it's a unpopular opinion but 4yeo my favorite album by him. Think the vibe, how personal it is & the fact I seen him on tour for it made it that way for me

I believe he was struggling to find direction after 2014 FHD. He probably felt like he reached the top of the mountain and didn’t know what direction to go. The Fall Off has come about as a personal challenge for him to top FHD critically and commercially. That’s why he’s taken so long on it.

I believe with 4YEO, aside from Deja Vu (that was a 2014 FHD song), he made the title track to deal with whatever grief he was going through with the loss of his friend during that time, and then decided to build an album around that title track and take moments from his own life (Neighbors) and incorporate it into the overall story.

Exactly. Not saying it’s a perfect album but to me it was him at his most vulnerable and besides a few adjustments to the track order I thought it was a great effort by him. Title track is one of the best rap songs of last decade

Really was a pain in the ass lol I legit HAD to get Apple Music for a few drake projects and tidal for jay z and I THINK Kanye dropped a Exclusive tlop? It was bad bug at the same time made me realize tidal is just as good as Apple Music and Spotify is ok.. but it’s just Spotify it was here first 😂
