Doesn’t matter if it’s mid or not, people have been dying for new music from one of the big artists and casuals overrate tf out of Cole. Not saying it won’t be good/great, but it doesn’t really matter when you have as solid of a base as he does.
He’s got the hip hop heads, the whites, the women, the casuals, the old heads AND and this is very important, the “real hip hop” crowd that only really likes him and Kendrick.
Yeah I’m not disagreeing with that. I don’t think his career depends on this album being that good. KOD showed he can drop something okay/decent and still have a crazy amount of hype surrounding him.
I’m just saying I hope off season is a great album given the hype and that he ain’t saving all the good stuff for fall off like niggas tend to do when they’re juggling multiple projects.
