This sorta feels like what Kendrick was tryna do on Damn. Minus the pop appeal and a lil more consistent.

Y’all really tryna have Kdot fans itt talking about “but but he won a Pulitzer “

It’s the Keep It Simple Stupid approach

Listened through today, sorry Cole fans but this some mid (and that’s being generous at times). Some nice lines that are among a tonne of misses.

I don’t think Cole should have dropped this. It’s not very cohesive, the tracks don’t really pop out and the thoughts have been expressed by him already but better in other songs.

Maybe expected a lot because it’s Cole but if this was another rapper the rating would be more obvious.

    4.5/10

Maybe besides FHD, ATM & 1985, but a lot of this album reminds of 1985 so that’s why I f*** with it a lot

You making 0 sense. Damn is way more conceptual than this. Cole rapped about 3-4 different topics on this entire album.

    Both albums absolute heat tho

That’s not a good comparison at all

This album is the big brother to DiCaprio 2 by JID. An album focused on rap rap rap that’s feels more like a mixtape.
