Listening to this in my s***ty iPhone speakers, gotta give this a car test to rally appreciate it
He doing what Mick Jenkins did after The Healing Component (a concept heavy album just like KOD that he got major flack for after dropping a classic mixtape in Waters.)
Got back to what we all fell in love with them for. Just rapping. No cringe concepts or "overthinking" too much. Just going in the studio and spazzing.
The only knock off that puts this under FHD (where he had the perfect balance of on that album), all he's doing is just rapping/spazzing. I could see somebody that is more a fan of "mellow/musical Cole" not really effing with this that much.
@BigDckBandit this what I'm talkin bout with Keef. Got waaaaay better at rapping, the "music" took a back seat.
That being said personally, The Warm Up and Friday Night Lights was a regular part of my ipod classic rotation so IMO, this is the best project he's had since FHD.
Baby need to work with better producers
Like bro he could be another GOAT in a few years
He has the juice.. could he have the sauce
damn cole is going in on applying pressure
this is why it's so great when he makes his own beats. he vibes the best on them
Why? That’s an obstacle 98% of these rappers faced. Hearing dudes that look like me make it out the worst parts of their city ain’t s*** but motivation. We’ve been hearing club songs for the longest as well, let them talk about their life.
Because they're all speaking in the same generalities. Haven't heard a fresh angle on it in a while. Morray already got like 5 songs like that.
Doing it is good obviously lol. Doesn't make the art interesting.
this top 3 Cole
Instantly. May be his magnum opus when it’s all said and done no hyperbole
had to skip track 2
Definitely not the best on the album. The next track has a weak hook but it’s pretty smooth sailing from there.
why is this so good??????????
y'all remember that meme of Fatboy SSE at Subway throwing them cookies 🍪 cause they was too good?
That's me rn
Do it got features or nah?
21 Morray Lil Baby
Cam’Ron outro on the intro
s***s on his last two albums by a mile
4YEO has heat tbh. Better than 2014FHD and KOD tho
There are so many bars on this too "Kill em on a song walk up out the booth do the Westbrook rock a baby" lmaoooo so good

But we all knew this was just going to be a rap rap rap rap album.
I expect The Fall Off to be the ultimate package like FHD was.
