Would make sense tbh a ton of brand recognition but doesn’t really benefit any of the artists to be under the umbrella anymore and a lot of work/employees for Cole. If Cole found a way to let everybody eat as well as they’re implying that’s really some boss s***.

Don’t know if anybody’s gonna believe me regarding this, but I work for local government in Raleigh and I just got the inside scoop of what’s going on with the next Dreamville Festival

So the next one is happening in Fall 2026, and it’s not gonna be called Dreamville Festival but it’s gonna be “Dreamville-like”… presumably meaning it’s gonna be a hip-hop/R&B focused festival

Dreamville and/or the City of Raleigh apparently pissed off Live Nation and that’s why we didn’t get anything Spring 2026, and then the City was planning to replace it with a country festival, but nobody would sign off on that understandably so

So Fall 2026 is when the next one is happening, at this point idk how involved Dreamville and J. Cole will be considering that he’ll be on tour at that time

Him and his team should have done everything in their power to hold one in 2026 and have that actually be the last one. Extremely pissed he didn’t make it happen

It would’ve been PERFECT timing considering it would’ve been just a few months after The Fall-Off. Maybe trying to set that up + set up a world tour at the same time was just too much to handle logistically at once

Cmon dude! I was at the Drake show! Nothing will ever top that for me as well! Doesn’t mean I wouldn’t enjoy anything beyond that! He needed to end this festival after this past album! It’s a disservice to the album and festival that it didn’t work that way!
