2011- My first great KTT memory is the Watch The Throne era. The rollout was insane. I was fortunate enough to go to the concert. Everybody was just insanely hype. I remember anticipating the leak for weeks and to my memory it didn’t leak until the final few hours at a time when albums leaked 1-2 weeks early at minimum due to physicals.

The Weeknd emerged from a Drake tweet linking to HoB. Not much to say to capture the moment. Truly a special time in my life. The threads for this mysterious d***ged out crooner dropping what would end up being a trilogy were truly special.

2012- GKMC caused a tsunami on KTT and the whole culture in general. I had never heard of Kendrick before his Beats by Dre commercial, but after hearing GKMC I went back to S80 and it was history from there.

2013- Yeezus, Born Sinner, and Mac Miller dropped the same day in June. The Yeezus thread on KTT1 was incredible and hilarious. Some kid went to Target before you could broadcast live on social media. He was posting updates every 5 to 20 minutes and the anticipation was so wild. He actually got it too. Absolute legend

2014-2015- IYRITL. So much lore and buzz about a “mixtape” Drake was trying to drop on Valentine’s Day. There was no really solid sources, but NBA players and celebs kept dropping subtle hints. For months KTT speculated on what would happen. Finally, Drake announced his best project of his career.

2015-2016- Endless. Blond. Apple Music bursts onto the scene on the heels of Frank and the streaming wars are officially set off.

I am tired of typing at the moment. Will finish through 2020 and expand on the last few releases if you guys want it. For those around in those days, please feel free to add your experience.
