sfsorrow1975 is actually a perfect encapsulation of all that is wrong with pop rock in the post 00s era. Terrible tongue in cheek songwriting, lifeless instrumentation, self indulgence to the point of parody

They definitely have their own unique style and even harsh critics of them have acknowledged that
They wear their influences on their sleeve but they have so many various influences they draw from that it ends up creating something wholly unique
