There’s only been 7 decades of popular music as we know it today, the best of each decade would have to be one of the Top 100 by default
Debatable and even so, being the best of a single decade doesn't instantly propel you into best of all time discussion if we're going off the premise that it's a weak decade for bands

1975 is actually a perfect encapsulation of all that is wrong with pop rock in the post 00s era. Terrible tongue in cheek songwriting, lifeless instrumentation, self indulgence to the point of parody
