Tru2DisNotNew2DisRap and rock are usually oil and water. Almost every attempt to combine the two has resulted in an unsalvageable product.
This is mostly true (there are exceptions though) and I think the reason why is because the rappers don’t really understand rock on a deep level like that and combine the two just to stand out

That attitude is extremely annoying if not cringe in itself, and is even worse when that becomes an artists reputation that they rarely ever grow out of, even if they actually have.
Prime example Hopsin - buddy does have some legit corny and bitter views on the world but he can still spit like a MF and deserves his flowers

Damn I definitely disagree but Lean&Cuisine is very underrated, the Batman series is excellent, Niles is ok sometimes his skits don’t hit. RDC is extremely consistent
