stupid hoe made her a joke to lots of rap fans but starships is one of her biggest songs. there's nothing wrong with having a big pop song as a rapper if your rap s*** is still up to par. niggas still put Lauryn Hill as a top rapper. but i agree that she f***ed up with certain songs and with taking that long of a break.

That's a good point.
Even after Starships she kept on out pop singles. It appeared like she was abandoning her rap fans.

She screwed up because she took such a long break between pink print and her next effort. That was the transition from pure sales to the streaming era(2014 -)
That would’ve been a great opportunity for her to get her fan base on the likes of Apple Music Spotify etc.

If you look at some of these other fanbases and the s*** they say and do on twitter and what not it’s not even close.
Also to the point of Nicki doing well on streaming I personally disagree. I think she’s underperforming. Queen didn’t do great on Spotify and her fan base seems nonexistent on AM.
My point was that she did a poor job of handling the transition to the streaming era and most of her fans didn’t make that transition. Similar to these old pop stars like Katy Perry lady Gaga etc.
