As oppose to your song being licensed by a movie, depending how you negotiate, you get points off what the movie grosses, and or every time an add for that movie is played on tv, that’s a check coming to you.

On top of events like NBA games where I legit have heard a Kanye song playing on air every game I’ve watched for the last 5 years
