King JermIt wasn't always like this culture wise, back before gangsta rap they weren't neccessarily "hard" with their images. Yes, after NWA rap did start letting some obviously s***ty people enjoy success, but I feel like every genre of music, and entertainers in general, can tend to be s***ty people.
It doesn't matter when it started it's whether it's the standard now and I feel like you're tryna shift this into a different convo.
I'm not saying Hip Hop is worse then most just making the point that were the one genre where our can make a living out of bragging about it usually.
Most pop stars get exposed in private videos doing and saying s*** our top stars say in hit songs.
Point being we let s*** slide all the time you can't be shocked when you draw a line if folks get confused.

It would seem these two things are contradictory. Hmmm, better just say cancel culture is the problem and not the heinous stuff rappers do. Keep it moving.
