I’m not well-versed on the conflict, maybe someone itt can speak to it better, From what I know Assad killed a lot of civilians during the Arab spring which led to rebel groups forming and fighting back. One gets support from countries you mentioned as an ends-justifies-the-means thing

none of that is a truthful or honest account of historical events

  • Nov 29, 2024

the CIA was already embedded in syria and the muslim brotherhood wanted to overthrow the state long before these supposed "civilian massacres" occured

their were never any "moderate rebels" and al-qaeda played a pivotal role in everything from the very beginning

    muslims don't support these people

I mean yeah some do but this is more like a vocal minority, can't really generalize

Im just talking about a lot of the people I see on twitter who support Palestine now saying this, guess they’re just stupid for supporting people that are supported by israel/usa, idiots

And again its because of what Himothee said, that bashar killed a lot of civilians

I'd question how much these people really "support palestine". Im very familiar with what the muslim brotherhood believe in and how palestinian land is just another part of an ahistorical "pan-Islamic" nation.

the truth is that these salafi groups have no real mass appeal, if they did the billions in funding and equipment and logistical support wouldn't be necessary.

"radical islam" is entirely a creation of the CIA and the Pentagon and al-qaeda would collapse globally in about a month if the money faucet was ever turned off.

Disruption in Syria seems pretty convenient as soon as there's a ceasefire in Lebanon.

Im seeing on twitter most support the rebels lol. Idk anything about the syrian civil war but I would assume any side us/israel/turkey supports is the evil side

bc people are not that smart and have a religious belief in western narrative as long as they dont have to see all the dead children

    ❗️Egyptian source to Al-Arabiya TV:

    ○ Cairo has presented a new proposal for a ceasefire in the Gaza Strip.

    ○ The new proposal includes the gradual withdrawal of Israeli forces from the Gaza Strip in stages.

    ○ Cairo will send a security delegation to Tel Aviv this week to push forward efforts to resume ceasefire negotiations.

    ○ The Egyptian proposal includes discussing the formation of an international committee headed by the United States to supervise the ceasefire.

Remember that on KTT you're likely to find yourself talking to New York disapora who haven't stepped foot in an arab country since they were 7. These people are profoundly estranged from the way your average Arab envisions the world.

Absolutely no one here stands Assad's guts except for UAE-backed Counter-Revolution dogs or the 5 remaining communist ideologues.

Well first thing is that ISIS is in no way implicated in the Free Syria movement lmao, there's been massive bloodshed between them.

They've always cost Rebel forces way more than they ever did Bashar and his Russian/Hezbollah militias, conveniently enough

palestinian national liberation organizations as well as secular arab nationalist groups throughout the region have been clear about the islamofascist nature of these insurgent groups for nearly a decade. not that such elicidation is necessary, nobody is really hiding their ideological viewpoints or their turko-zionist funding sources.

the implication that the Baathist regime is any way a legitimate threat to Israel is very very funny.

Israel would rather have Bashar ruling the Golan borders than a freed self-determining Syria any day of the week.
