the displacing of Palestinians happens because civilians (settlers) are actively encouraged to move their and build homes, which necessitates a hyper-militarized “defense” force to remove the native population and keep them subjugated to maintain order in a fundamentally unstable society.

the IDF isn’t just there to march around and shoot Palestinians for no reason, nor is “Greater Israel” just appearing out of thin air because the Israeli ruling class wants it to expand. They all go together and are a fundamental part of any settler society. Land displacement > forceful uprooting of native population > extreme violence to protect the settler population and provide a slave underclass to support the lives of occupiers.

It’s no different than European settlers in America, the Boers in South Africa, the failed Nazi settler state in Eastern Europe.
