WASHINGTONAmericans are already in it, behind it. Just not "officially" announced/acknowledged because why does that even matter anymore.

If anybody is in areas of conflict in any way.. i am sending you the best regards and hope for nothing but prosperity for you and your loved ones. if you are facing difficulties, we as a community are always here for you all, and you have support here.
can’t imagine witnessing or facing the horrors of these wars first hand. maybe we can start a thread in misc section or something where yall just check in and let us know you’re safe if your home is facing any threats. just a thought, but I just want to reaffirm this community’s support for its users in times when you may feel hopeless or need somebody to communicate with

the problem here is that people are taking "american" as a given when really "americans" don't exist (as the current uprising in los angeles reminds us), the US is a prisonhouse of nations and palestinians already understand why black people are sympathetic to peace and anti-imperialism whereas white settlers are bloodthirsty. the same processes happened to us.

Both recent presidents met with Iranian leaders to convince them not to retaliate when Israel provoked Iran
Their first time retaliating recently were entirely attacks on material not people
US intentionally stirs the pot with nuclear talks, says Iran isn’t building nukes. Then point out they have a lot of uranium deposits to give reason for deterrents
Fox News host says the US don’t need to get involved because they’re essentially at war with Iran already (desensitization to the idea using illogical takes in front of potentially millions of viewers)
Israel formally asks the US for help (I saw multiple tweets about this but not sure where it’s sourced. I could find sources for the rest pretty easily)
Regarding the fox news point, Americans genuinely lump Iran with every middle eastern country but Israel, they can't discern them at all. It's baffling.
I really think people have a warped perception of Iran is, how it looks like and what their government and plans are
