Saint SeiyaI work in tech in the broadly but basically I have to be in an office overnight and am on call regularly but I’m covering for someone for their day shift. Luckily I don’t do this normally, s***posting the only way to make it through
I’m in a paper mill. It’s me and four guys between 29-64 in this control room just straight up bullshitting until some equipment goes crazy then we gotta get it in line. Until then, we just s***post but in real life.

The problem with AI inherently is that it exists in a capitalist system, all the problems people talk about exist because of artificial scarcity and how art is commodified
If people can live their lives without the worry of going broke or being homeless then AI can co-exist and augment our lives
There is a tendency for defeatist helpless attitudes in online leftist spaces for sure
