I feel like it’s inhumane to do capital punishment, it’s barbaric and there’s something deeply soulless about having the government inject death into someone.
And with this, even though they signed up for the military, most signed up prior to this war — and now some are clearly showing deep regret but are still being forced to go have a high percentage chance of being killed in a scary ground invasion that they likely don’t support or understand how it benefits the US. I cannot imagine that level of regret and fear. A lot are extremely young, poor, and highly uneducated. S*** is f***ed.
