i mean kinda...its not like Americans are on the ground in Iran. They not sitting ducks on bases either. Then there's the carrier groups who are just at sea right now. There's dozens injured and they're basically telling us the number dead will rise eventually as well.

Iran is focused on far more beyond troop casualties. If there's a few more I wouldn't be shocked but its pretty hard to hide U.S. troop casualties for an extended period

Honestly I think it's probably closer to 10. They just gotta follow death/next of kin protocol so we won't hear about them yet. But 500 is insane man. Maybe if you count injuries you get close to that number. 500 would require multiple mass-death incidents (20+) which would be huge news

The US have done a pretty good job of evacuating bases and there aren't any soldiers near Iranian territory. Most of Iran's damage has been to key military/industrial assets in the region
