Reading the top Iran-IL reddit threads is mind-numbing; these guys are collectively delusional...

One comment says "Israel targeted military targets with surgical precision. Iran is blindly firing salvos of ballistic missiles at civilians."

But multiple Iranians were killed, including an innocent child playing outside, and since these were indiscriminate attacks and done first, directed at apartment buildings, it's quite literally the opposite...

While multiple sources say they're targeting military and government facilities, no Israeli civilian deaths have been reported thus far.

Not to mention the hubris and arrogance of some of these users in claiming that the United States should intervene and "help" Israel, as if Iran is similar to Afghanistan and Iraq, a militant/terrorist led desert land with much hiding space. The people are very different as well.

So much ignorance, it's really infuriating how people can just defend Israel doing this at an established sovereign nation, regardless of their politics (we all know Israel is arguably worse in any case--yet some liberals and conservatives ignore that), and believe it's justified.

One user received upvotes for claiming an imminent threat, when it is more likely that Netanyahu and his direct cabinet require an ongoing conflict to remain in power and avoid facing his war crimes, and don't care about the Israeli or Iranian people. Again, Iran's threats to Israel were virtually empty, and there was no indication that they would attack Israel other than to defend Hezbollah in FOREIGN countries such as Lebanon... When will the average American just wake up from the sheer amount of propaganda, the average American user online supports Israel's conquest, but denounces Trump, who is strongly in Israel's favour, even more than the dems...

I think I might stop honestly. I'm all ears for some suggestions for better political news/discussion outside of this site, cause twitter and insta are messes as well, and a lot american news articles are pretty bad too
