if this ceasefire holds I see this as a good outcome for iran. their nuclear capabilities are mostly still in tact, and they responded to the attacks with considerable force

I think Iran played today as decently as they could.

• They went through the motions they needed to with the U.S and limited escalation entirely with symbolic moves
• They separated the U.S. nuclear stuff from their fight with Israel.
• They showed that they're willing to do diplomacy by agreeing to the ceasefire
• Got the last direct hits in on Israel which will surely infuriate Tel Aviv and tempt them to break ceasefire.

U.S. can't claim Tehran broke a ceasefire either cus these are technically valid under the 6 hour timeframe Trump explained. If Israel retaliates it looks bad for MAGA's media pushes the past few hours, leaves Israel in a continued dilemma over air defense and gives Iran a clear reason to proceed.

If both have 6 hours to strike before ceasefire, then sure. But Iran has to stop for 12 hours and is Israel allowed to hit them? That makes no sense when Israel just hit them mere hours ago. The parameters are so unclear that i'm not sure if its even a ceasefire at all
