Ehh i don't agree with this. Iran's attacked because it is perceived as a threat. Compromising or trying to destroy it has been important to U.S. policy since the 1950's. Like sure the U.S. goes out of its way to get into wars but the countries it attacks aren't random. Its an overarching strategy with endgames at play. Its not necessarily a conventional threat, but idk if that matters cus Iran has fought asymmetric warfare effectively against both Israel and the U.S. for decades

Neither have dared to actually attempt to invade or fight conventionally against Iran for a reason. Israel couldn't. And beyond just concerns over middle east, Iran is a part of containing China.
