"Cole connects to people"

idk if you're that familiar with his work, but I'd say it's the epitome of "connecting" to a fanbase. dude was and is still a regular guy going thru regular s***. Cole is clearly the better rapper technically. but I think the content and the way it's delivered is where the appeal is. people say Cole is too preachy or his fanbase talks down on others and claims you gotta have a certain level of intelligence to understand it.

Zay's music is almost entirely based in vulnerability whether it be about his substance abuse, relationship problems, dad issues, etc. homie is almost a little too honest lol. but that's what makes him so relatable and connects the listeners to his music. but if you're looking for bars then yeah maybe he's not your best bet.
