So zay is going for the superstar status on this album. I liked the way he put it. He talked about how he liked hurts me souls the most from lupe but also how he made songs like superstar down the line. I guess we will see when the album comes out but if hes going for the top this time Im curious to see how it sounds overall. Hurts me soul hit me the hardest off of that first lupe album so im really curious to see how he balances this out.

he really cant afford to at this point. If this album ends up blowing up there aint no way his label lets him sit for 4 years. And it has to be a undeniable classic to earn that right without losing significant momentum when you start to get that high. tde might allow but I feel like majors are gonna push it harder than not.
