I’m not but a lot of people might and I want artists like Zay to succeed
Gambino kinda did a social experiment with his music, look at the reception of his latest album when you take away some core concepts of marketing
I know it sucks to admit it, but this stuff matters
That sucks to think about cause that’s an amazing project
it doesn’t say album is 20 tracks it says that’s how many he recorded during a particular time
Not sure how ppl are hating on this track sounds like regular Zaywop to me and this beat will be nice to bump in cars I'm anticipating the album.
Album out in June

"the deliriously anticipated, bourbon-drowned baptismal"
man i can't with these types of music journalists
U can lie to yourself as much as u want but after couple weeks from now this will be clear example of 'came n went'

Me 5 years from now bumping Lay Wit Ya from Isaiah Rashad’s third classic, “The House is Burning”
All i want is for brodie to rap man. Have whatever production you want.
There was times on the sun's tirade (it was a good album more of less but it definitely had some lows) where it felt like he was mumbling incoherent at times.
I’m not waiting any longer I’m listening to Cilvia demo today. And don’t flame me
For not listening to it yet.
article is better than most tho

the journalist overall did a good job, but you know you gotta add some literary sauce and buzzwords to that s*** lol

" The first song on The House is Burning is fittingly titled “Darkseid,” and it moves with a midnight-of-the-soul bounce. With beats that sound like they’ve been ripped from J Dilla’s Donuts and soaked in whisky, Rashad, once again, drags 4 a.m. despair into vivid daylight. "
looks like Zay is appealing to you nerds who want TST2 also

all the singles on TST he was rapping tho.
Park is one of my favorite Isaiah Rashad tracks period
Also Smile even tho it wasn't on the album ultimately.
how are they nerds
that s*** came out half a decade ago and they're nerds for attaching themselves incessantly to a moment in time
people grow and change and zay made that album between a X**** and alcohol addiction then severe depression
he's not concertedly making that type of music again because a) it came out of extreme trauma that he doesn't wanna face b) he isn't making the same styled album twice
I’m not waiting any longer I’m listening to Cilvia demo today. And don’t flame me
For not listening to it yet.
nah, go enjoy it bro.
Almost at the finish line. This was one hell of a (annoying) ride but I’m excited for what’s to come in these next 2 months. Just got a peek at the album cover yesterday. Things are coming together nicely finally
how songs on the album are like this? Do you think this will expand his fanbase as a single?

"The House is Burning splits the difference between something that exists equally for those weaned on Rap Caviar and those steeped in the biblical Memphis testament of Stax and Hi Records."
