i would say not in this era and not for an artist like rashad. really the only way i can see releasing a single being advantageous is if it comes with an album release date. but i have also been anti single for literally over a decade

J Cole built up his base with his mixtapes and releasing almost every year. Plus Cole has struggled in the mainstream, its.not.like he is out here.blowing.up the charts
