As a non THIB hater this is heat. People have overestimated how lyrical or about bars Zay ever was lol. He has no misses and this new album will be no different

I'm not mad at Zay not being lyrical and coming with the repetitive/lazy flows but if he's on that then the beat needs to be doing the heavy lifting like on songs like Bday, Villain, etc. If it's an okay/mid beat then it just comes across as generic. Snippet at the end sounds fire tho

From what I see from the post THIB detractors, it's not about the lyrics as much as its about the delivery and energy. he was pretty subdued, chill, understated on that entire album and now on this single

He's always been a hit or miss artist for me, the songs that hit for me I absolutely love, the ones that miss are generally not ones I really dislike but just very sleepy and unremarkable, expecting the same on this one tbh but if I get a few songs I like I'll be happy

Idk, this beat is so bland. I wouldn't mind the same flow the entire song if the beat had any type of interesting dynamics to it.
