So tired of Yall using “what the masses listen to” as an argument
Cuz when I think about that, I think about this
I'm literally explaining what he probably meant tf
Do y'all even like music? Like deadass lol and this is beyond Tyler. Cause what the f*** is a critically acclaimed album without replay value? How does an album get critically acclaimed without replay value?
I understand the idea of an album being intense or “heavy” and not necessarily the best for casual day to day listening which I think hee talking about
The critics will turn on Tyler soon enough. Nobody would have predicted KTT turning on Tyler but it happened. He's a style-over-substance artist and once the fashion/aesthetic that he's attached himself to becomes uncool, his music will go with it.

This site turning on him wasn’t that unpredictable. There was always strong hostility between the “artsy” hip hop fans and the “outside” hip hop fans. Then Khaled put a name to it with the mysterious music s***.

Khaled inventing the phrase 'mysterious music' makes up for his entire musical output post-2016. He didn't really understand what he was saying, he just seemed to be using it as a term for music that doesn't get played outside, but it describes the slick, well-produced but utterly meaningless music of Tyler, Frank, Rocky, etc. so well.
What was his last critically acclaimed album?
His last two albums won Grammys for rap album of the year

most critical reviews come out within the first 5 days of an album release
