One of the most important producers in music, defined a general sound in the genres mentioned for a decade and some change.

Prime Timbo was one of the best and most versatile to ever do it.
He could nail Hip Hop, R&B, Techno, and Pop with ease. And his classic beats still get sampled by newer artists to this day due to how timeless they sound.
And his drums were incredible.
But, as others said, it's been a while since Timbaland was THAT dude. His last hurrah was in 2013 and he never really recaptured the magic ever since on a consistent level.
