Are you Black?
And to answer your question, yes but not the way Kendrick is using it
Yes, im a black American just like Kendrick is.
The heritage thing still doesn’t work because Drakes father is a black man from Memphis, so that’s part of Drakes heritage too. He even shot the Worst Behavior video with all of his Memphis relatives in it.
Kendrick admitted he’s just a hater. So it’s not like he has a point with this stuff, it’s just “I don’t like Drake therefore he’s not black”.

Just because your Dad is from here that doesn't automatically allow you in culturally. His angle is for what Drake raps about, he didn't grow in that and probably wouldn't fair well in those conditions. A lot of the Black American story is the struggle, so he's most likely gonna evaluate the relationship with Drake and his Father
Plus, there's neighborhoods that could represent Kendrick's story and niggas would understand. Can't do the same for Drake. Then the whole spirituality aspect he can go to, there's substance to heritage claims
Drake still up 2-0 too. S***s crazy

If he isn’t allowed in culturally then why does he still get s*** for not rapping about “black issues” and supporting the culture?

Because he's profiting from the culture

Ngl I just found out Drakes uncle was THAT Larry Graham
ultra goat
You think we getting the red button?
Brodie I think he should frfr I think he wants the final word tho so ion think he gonna drop the nuke just yet if kenny just gonna kèep spamming "drake the type" bars on another long winded diss and ever internet user will eat it up as usual
Honestly in my opinion I just can't see this battle going any longer if Kendrick just gonna regurgitate every single drake hate talking point
so he's gonna have to gon head and send that nuke and end this s*** for good if it's really a "nuke" it's gotta be the end of the war type track

You're right
This has always been the case Kendrick is a bona-fide hater imagine hating a nigga who've showed you nothing but love since you debuted and I'm sure someone will bring up drake being "sensitive" with control I always thought he was more annoyed by it than anything a diss on wax is a diss on wax none of that oh i love you gwuys but I'm gonna murder you niggas

Hopefully its the game ender, that way dot doesnt profit off this beef in his future album. But it would be nice for this to keep going for the next couple of months. It is summer after all.

Regardless of the outcome I definitely think we will get a “IYRTITL” esque project out of this. Maybe like a 13 song tape or something.

Well it’s more than that. Drake would take trips from Toronto to Memphis with his dad from his childhood up until adulthood.

Yo Gotti also confirmed that he knew Drake back then before Drake was even famous.
Drake has never claimed to be from the black struggle. In fact he’s said on wax he didn’t grow up that way.
Btw growing up in a single parent household is also a part of the black struggle. Kendrick had both of his lol. Not that it matters, just pointing that out.

Dot reminds me of Bishop from Juice sometimes.
Especially the way he’s doing Cole rn.

It’s so over for Pitchrick
Wtf kenny ain't moving like this is he ?
"The next one is really bouta bring out the coward in you"

Best part is all the cats are out of the bag, he can talk as reckless as he wants on albums now even with naming names

Agreed and we may not get as many features which is another W in my book
