    He texted it to AK

He's gotta stop talking to Akademiks. I'm tired of this clown acting as his mouthpiece. It's real beef time now. Cut dude off. He's served his purpose.

Drizzy will let the novelty wear off, and then end the midget for good

  • My only real issue with Kendrick's diss are the annoying flows/vocal changes he does throughout. His response was quite okay to me.

I do think, however, that he revealed a lot more about what he had on Drake by regurgitating angles other rappers have used to go at him but I also think that's because he legit doesn't have s*** on Drake. He's making threats about knowing other s*** s*** about Drake but I think it's a bluff and I think Drake knows that.

I think people are disappointed about the diss record because it took him so long to drop and because he isn't really saying much else about Drake that people haven't heard before.

This is the point in the beef where Drake starts to seperate himself because now it's a game of pace and speed as well as effectiveness.

  • I also feel like Drake might drop more than 1 track lol. He's got A LOT to say to Kendrick, it seems.

he knows what he's doing imo. intentionally leaking things for them to be shared (we saw it with mal, leaking that this is actually an album rollout attempt for kendrick which will be released in may)

kendrick's camp has ties to several media outlets and personalities that don't hide their biases when it comes to drake. like him or not, ak's platform is bigger than all of theirs, so using him is beneficial (esp cause many false narratives about drake have been pushed/created by ak)

This is a bad article for a number of reasons, but this line stood out to me: "The title of the track is a nod to HBO’s Euphoria, a show about teenagers in high school, which Drake is inexplicably an executive producer of."

In 2017, Drake, along with his “manager” Future The Prince (Adel Nur) co-founded a production company called DreamCrew. It has produced (or at least been part of) 10 movies & tv shows, along with other work (see Luna Luna). One of which was Euphoria.

Sam Levinson began drafting versions of what would become Euphoria in 2006. Separately, an Israeli television mini-series called Euphoria was broadcast in 2012, with the premise of a group of teenagers having s***and taking d****. In 2012 he was part of a meeting discussing an American adaptation of the show, which began development in 2019. Euphoria is co-produced by 5 different companies, including DreamCrew, has 16 executive producers, including Drake & Future The Prince. Sam Levinson has written every episode, is the showrunner, and has directed every episode minus the pilot.

Maude Apatow (a main cast member) said that she only saw Drake on the set once. Zendaya said the same. He threw the cast a party according to another. He obviously helped fund the whole show, through DreamCrew.

Drake did not write the show, Drake did not produce the show, Drake was one of 16 “executive producers” who probably didn’t do much, other than fund the show through the company he only co-founded. He has been in the entertainment business since he was a kid. He starred in a school-related TV show. That alone is enough of an “explanation”.

It’s genuinely insane, not to mention dishonest and weird, to try to link his involvement in any way to any allegations made about him, or use the word inexplicably.

The author does just hate Drake (a victim of the “Drake Derangement Syndrome” coined by Joe Coscarelli), she thinks that anyone defending Drake is being paid by OVO. But even then, for someone to call themselves a “Music Journalist” (it’s not just some random - she is an actual journalist and author) and make that point is undefendable. Even more so when all this was pointed out in her replies (twitter.com/SowmyaK/status/1785346475775426707) hours before the article. You have to wonder if she actually believes what she’s saying.

I was thinking this as well but I don't see him waiting that long lol. I think he'll be ready to go by Wednesday. I wouldn't mind him dropping on Friday too though. Let thie Kendrick response settle with people.
