in what way was it corporate?

Sueing over a rap beef and dragging corporations into it is disgraceful however.

  • Niggas keep saying that beef was corporate when literally it was THE OTHER SIDE that kept talking to the corporate lmao

Kendrick never said a word but youtube links lmao.

Kendrick couldn't win against 50, he would've stripped the label politics out of the beef and made Kenny actually play by the OG rules in a battle.

eh, it would be a good battle but I don’t think it’s anything Dot couldn’t handle lol. if 50 gets messy on some Drake s***, it would get nasty for him

Same for Drake, but that's how it played out. It was a corporate hit on Drakes brand.

the hardest rappers for dot would be Nas, Pac, rappers like Busta etc. Uncontroversial, traditional rhymers. Ironically Cole too probably if his ass aint tap out

Kendrick Lamar can still win rap beefs without talking about the other rapper’s “controversies.” He was going to embarrass jay electronica before electronica waved the white flag

a lot of people could give Kendrick run if we’re just talking typical rap tension , people underestimate how much of this was self inflicted by Drake, gave a nigga who’s a flat out better writer & narrator a reason to go scorched earth

Kendrick was locked and ready, had his label behind him the whole beef. They knew what they were looking to accomplish, it wasn't just him going at Drake, it was Kendrick and UMG. It was a business move more then an actual beef.
