This gonna get me a LOT of hate but.....Nas and I've listened to most of his discography except for like 2 or 3 albums. I like songs of his but overall he's just kinda boring to me.
This lowkey hurt my soul but I can see it.
Nas didn't really make upbeat or hype songs like that outside of a couple of singles.
But his music from 94-02(barring Nastadamus) and the 2020's should be pretty accessible though. I don't know. Different strokes for different folks I guess.
can’t really think of anyone outside of the one mentioned damn, that sound has always just been cool to me
Honestly, for me, it's KRS One.
Something about his delivery just throws me off even though I appreciate his messages.
Ice Cube and Chuck D were the better "militant" rappers to my ears.
Talib
Talib is one of those rappers who's lyrically superb on paper but his flow is trash half the time.
Talib is almost Blueface/Silkk The Shocker levels of offbeat in many of his songs and he loves to speak in run on sentences.
I can't take niggas who criticize E-40's flow but give Talib a pass seriously tbh. @Water_Giver
can’t get into Nas in a meaningful way, of couse I can listen to & vibe to his classics but I’m not invested
Same
Blu. But i think its a timing thing. Even though i know id enjoy his music
Sometimes i just need to the right headspace for some artists for whatever reason
And that means wu records too
it should’ve been five to six core wu members featuring their friends

You probably would've told them to ditch inspectah deck which would've deprived the world of the greatest verse of all time
Triumph intro
Nah they all have classic verses, even the lowest of key Masta Killah
I was high energy kid and it was hard to go from 36 Chambers and Ready To Die to Illmatic. Too refined and measured for my spastic ass.

Masta Killa clears most if not all secondary wu tang members
for whatever reason
dave east , lloyd banks because of uninspiring voices , great rappers though.
And also Boldy James , boy sounds like he always catchin’ a cold.
And Wiz Khalifa , can’t stand how he pronounces the “R”
Also good rappers though

Nas flows are absolutely crazy even all over illmatic. Represent, Ny State, It aint hard to tell
Busta Rhymes solo albums
Oh yeah and new busta voice raspy as hell , sounds awfull !
Billy woods
Less legendary status and more seems like I'd be a fan
This one too , and Bruiser Wolf (wtf is this voice?
Also Kendrick with the different voices type of s***
I can't really get into MF Doom.
I tried, I just can't.
I’ve felt that way for a long time up until last month where his music suddenly clicked for me. Weird how things work
