Spanish people want to support the Latin people who make they music they like - what's your issue?

    It's a win-win situation on both sides.

Unless you don't like reggaeton like me :(

A Brit will have trouble understanding Jamaican Patois.

A South American Spanish speaker will more than likely understand European Spanish.

    There’s the difference.

You really thought you had one

Hip hop isn't owned by the people the culture came from... I'm not even gonna debate you on how that's literally not progress.

In business no one cares about your intentions of sharing cultures, what's profitable gets pushed to the top.

You mention rock music leaving out how dirty black rock musicians were done so I'm not even gonna bring up how dirty black rappers are being done (till this day) at awards shows, in the media (hey fox news), and popular opinion ("rap is crap" , "they're just mumbling" , "eminem is the best rapper of all-time", "they don't use instruments they're not artists", "rap is not music they just talk lol" yadayadayada)

African-American musicians, in aggregate, own a lot more of hip-hop than they did rock at its peak. So yes, that’s progress. Stop being so pessimistic. I hear you, but start looking on the bright side. We’re both aware of the issues in the industry, I think we defer in our 1) opinion about capitalism and 2) ideas about the growth and acceptance in mainstream music. This is going to be my last post on the matter. Animated chat! I hope people reading our back-and-forth found it education/informative/entertaining lol.

    Good evening! 😁

There's another artist going through something similar in Catalonia btw, she didn't blow up like that (cause she's trash) but she's also white and has been making reggae music for years.
