I think he has 3 great albums. But like you said 70s niggas were churning out music on that level every year. He only has 3 in 3 decades. He cant be a A or S tier artist
Are we talking quality level or just sound? Cause I think a lot of those artists should be plugged in or discussed to see if yall got the substance behinds those statements lol.

But theres a lot of artists that are just as great if not greater than him that I never see come up on this site as much as him because they dont have that same aura of mystery to them that appeals to the hipsters

MangoThe greatest rapper of all time died on March 9th. Dropped one album. Henry Thomas has one post-humous compilation of folk recordings. Amazing artist. Greatness is greatness. You don't need a spreadsheet to figure it out.

also i see the focus here is only centered around what's on record. what about live performance? what about impact/influence? these are the types of things you factor in when discussing "GOATs". that's why you have to mention D'Angelos and Beyonces. they are the standard. there are plenty niggas who can make great songs, but they're not DOING IT like the greats. in every aspect.
