NujaPeople buying a PS5 at 1K are people who just want to say they own one. Nobody who actually wants want for the long run is laying a scalper. Most people can’t afford double the price. Using exploits such as bots to mass horde on inventory for anything rather it’s a need or a luxury item in high demand is trash. Even if I had the means to do this myself I wouldn’t. Once again. There’s a difference in someone authentically obtaining 2-3 PS5s and they sell out naturally and they resell at a higher price vs using methods where absolutely nobody else has a chance and now the demographic of buyers are people who just want the item because it’s a hot thing. People who genuinely want one are SOL. Y’all can keep trying to cape for this kind of s*** by saying it’s not a necessity but it’s not right. When mfs get robbed for this s*** I have no empathy.
You do realize that, even if no resellers purchased any, that they would still be sold out correct? That’s why the price started to go up in the first place
And once those people that “genuinely wanted one” see that they could sell that game for a thousand dollars, they may change their mind about actually playing it and decide to sell it to someone else who is willing to play it so badly that they will fork over more money
You can’t just say that anyone buying it for resell is only doing it for clout and won’t actually play it. That makes no sense. The majority of my buyers are people that are buying them as gifts for other people

Even using a bot isn’t immoral anymore bc anyone can buy a bot/everyone knows about it. Ppl complain about bots but then don’t buy them. That’s like me complaining about you having an unfair advantage to get a PS5 bc you have a car and can drive to Walmart but I don’t have a car . I’ve bought and resold over 10 PS5s personally and every time I post them on Facebook or Snapchat.. there are always a few people that slide up and say that it is wrong for me to be doing it.
But why is it wrong, or at least, any more wrong than any other way that people make money legally in USA?
